Real Urban Art
Project held in conjunction with Dunstable town council and the Met police to take young people off the streets and get them involved in arts projects and the development of a youth centre in the town
Kcac (Katatura community arts school) Namibia
Street art Project held with students at the art centre teaching them about and how to create street/urban arts leading to a end of project exhibition
Kolmanskop Ghost town
Hired by NamDeb (DeBeers diamonds) to restore the first diamond mining town in Namibia which is now a tourist attraction. The aim was to restore artwork found inside the wall of the abandoned buildings and restore back to its former glory. The project was a big success and is now a national heritage site
Ontanda lodge, Namibia
Working with the ministry of environment and tourism to create a lodge for young students to explore and discover the desert and wildlife.
Namibian Music Awards 2009
Design and concept of the event which took place at Namibia’s national theatre hall. Designed and built the set and also the TV promo
Evoke arts collective 2015-2016
Evoke arts collective created by REAL1 and Helen Leavy. Evoke is an short term arts collective project based in Lurgan Northern Ireland that would run workshops,offer affordable studio and retail space for artists and designers. The project has now ended.
